Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kluvaka (“the App”), developed by GrigorApps (“we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects your information when you use the App on Android or iOS.
1. Information you give us
- Account details — your email address, or the name, email and profile photo shared by Google or Apple when you sign in with them.
- Profile — your username, display name, profile photo and whether your profile is public or private.
- Fishing logbook — sessions, events, catches and trophies, fish species, weights, notes, photos and videos, equipment, tags, goals and the fishing places you save.
- Social activity — who you follow, block or mute, and your likes and comments.
- Feedback you choose to send us.
2. Information collected automatically
- Usage data — which screens you open and which features you use, so we can understand what works and improve the App.
- Crash and diagnostic data — technical details about errors and crashes.
- Device data — device model, operating system, app version, and a push notification token if you allow notifications.
- Purchase data — whether you have an active subscription. Payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
The App does not track your precise location. A fishing place is only what you enter or choose yourself.
3. Permissions
- Camera — to take photos and videos of your catches.
- Photos — to attach existing photos and to save trophy cards to your library when you ask.
- Notifications — to tell you about follows, likes, comments and similar activity.
You can turn any permission off in your device settings.
4. How we use your information
- To create your account and keep your logbook synced across devices.
- To show your public profile, sessions and trophies to other users when you make them public.
- To send notifications you have allowed.
- To provide and verify subscriptions.
- To fix bugs, prevent abuse and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not show third-party advertising.
5. What other users can see
If your profile is private, your sessions, trophies and equipment are visible only to you. If you make it public, other users can see your username, display name, profile photo and the sessions and trophies you share. The places you save are never shown to other users. Your likes and comments are visible to other users who can see the item you reacted to.
6. Service providers
We use the following services to run the App. Each processes data only to provide its service to us:
- Google Firebase — sign-in, database, file storage, cloud functions, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting and app integrity checks (privacy).
- Amplitude — product usage analytics (privacy).
- RevenueCat — subscription management (privacy).
- Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — if you choose to sign in with them.
- Apple App Store and Google Play — payments and app reviews.
These providers may process data on servers outside your country. They are required to protect it with appropriate safeguards.
7. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account in the App (More → Manage account → Delete account), we delete your account and the content linked to it. Some anonymous analytics and crash reports may be kept for longer by our providers under their own retention periods.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we process it. You can edit your profile and delete your account directly in the App. For anything else, contact us at the address below and we will reply within 30 days.
9. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with Google Firebase. Access rules limit each user to their own private data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
10. Children
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the App.
